  I. D. "Jack" Barton, 89, of Andalusia died Thursday, November 30, 1995 at his home
  Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 2 at Mount Zion Methodist Church, with the Rev. Bob Crumbley officiating. Music was provided by the Mt. Zion Church choir with Gail Wesley.
  
  Burial followed in Mount Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Albert K. Barton Jr., Hoyt Burdick, Dayton Dennington, Charles Bartholomew, John Kendall Eppes III, Larry Wayne Wambles Jr., Jimmy Jones, Gafford Henderson and Hubert McVay.
  
  Survivors include a son, Albert K. "Kent" Barton of Eufaula; six grandchildren, Albert K. Barton Jr. of Newburg, Ken., Debra Bartholomew of Atlanta, Tina Eppes of Eufaula, Emily Wambles of Saltillo, Miss., Jennifer Dennington of Plantersville, Miss., and Dr. Hoyt Burdick of Huntington, W. Va.; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

  She will be remember as a most positive, unselfish and giving encouragement to her family and friends.
  
  Surviving family include Terry Morrison, granddaughter; and three grandchildren, Javier, Guillermito and Veronica of Rockledge, Fla.; Donald Hicks, Ben Hicks, Joe Mack Hicks, Kent Barton and Benny McDaniell, nephews; Cynthia Rider Cross, niece; Ruth Schnering, aunt; and Elizabeth Hicks, sister-in-law.
  
  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in her honor to the Mt. Zion Cemetery Fund.
