    In the name of God amen, I Robert Malone of the County of Northampton and State of North Carolina being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but of weak and decling health of body, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following

    Item -- It is my will and honest desire that my Executors hereafter to be mentioned do first pay all my just debts

    Item -- I Lend unto my loving wife Milly Malone the Land and plantation whereon I now live during her natural life, also I lend my Negroe fellow Tom to my loving wife for the use and benefit of my three youngest children hereafter mentioned Viz. Ann, Elizibeth, and John Allen Malone until the youngest arrive to the age of twenty years old or mor age, and at the ixpiration of which time the said Negroe to be sold and equally divided amonst all my then surviving children

    my will and desire also is that at the death of my loving wife that my land be sold at the discression of my Executors and divided amongest my then surviving children or their Heirs if any such there be

    Item -- I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Milly Malone two feather Beads, and ferniture, half a doz pewter plates, half a doz knives and forks, one Iron pall [?], one Kittle, one shist [?], three Cows and calves, one sow and piggs, four head of sheep, one horse called Stafford, one Bridle & Saddle, hald a doz Chairs, one table her choice, one clothes press, one Book Called Birth.. [?] and any others of my Books she may choos to keep, one cotten wheal, one flax ditto, two pewter Dishes [?], two Bason...[?], one p. wool Cards, one Butter pott, one large pitcher, to be at her own disposal, also all of my corn, and one thousand pounds of pork

    Item -- my will and desire is at the division of my estate heretofore mentioned there be deducted out of my two sons William and Charles parts the following sums they having already received so much of my Estate to wit William Ten pounds Virginia Money & Charles twenty two pounds ten shillings of like money in order to make an equil division amongst my said Children

    Item -- it is farther my will and desire the Executors hereafter mentioned do continue to carry on the suit commenc'd against the Executors of John Bridgforth and as soon as German Baker my attorney in that suit shall have received the property sued for and shall have settled the same suit any given possession to my Executors of the said property that they do pay him the sum of fifty pounds virginia Money for his fee in siad Suit on the recovery of said property for which suit was brought it being our agreement --

    my will and father desire is that on recovery of said property that it be equally divided amongst the lawful claimints including my loving wife Milly Malone one of them --

    Item -- and lastly I nominate and appoint my two sons William and Charles Malone and my well beloved friend Dennis Still my Executors to this my last will and Testament given under my hand and seal the twenty fourth Day of November one thousand seven Hundred and ninety one --
