He is survived by one daughter Diana Ruth O'Bryan of Fort Smith; one grandchild, Bridgett Ruth O'Bryan of Spring Branch, TX; one sister, Judi Elaine Zellner of San Diego, CA; niece, Barbara Ann Edwards of Fort Smith; and his dog, Roxie, who was his constant companion. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Mildred Lois Bales, and one great grandchild Griffin McDaniel.
Funeral service will be Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:30 AM in the Northside United Pentecostal Church with burial to follow in the U.S. National Cemetery all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Myers, Lee Bolton, Jule Wise, Gene Willyard, Lawrence Brautigan, and Anthony Allen.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men's Esteemed Elder Class
The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM
