Born and raised in Texas, she joined the U.S. Navy in 1943, served in WWII, came to Pasadena in 1947 and attended Pasadena College on the G.I. bill. She met and married Klaus Wallace there in 1951. She is survived by her husband and children, Marcia Wallace, Ronald Wallace, and Patricia Adams [of Idaho]. Memorial service to be held Friday, April 22, at 4:00 pm, Townsend Hall, William Carey campus, 1600 Elizabeth St. Edna was cremated, and her ashes were spread over the Pacific Ocean.2

She is survived by his wife Elizabeth Rogers; stepdaughter, Terrie Baker and husband Larry; stepson, Byron Kennard and wife Bobbi; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Earthman Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX.
