Biography*: Sarah's marriage to John Duke has not been found. However, Hinshaw records that Sarah Duke was the sister of John Peele (Vol. I, p. 225, Rich Square MM). And deeds in Northhampton Co, NC show Robert Peele as a witness to a deed between John Duke of Northhampton Co, and Thomas Trottter of Nancemond Co, VA (1747). John Duke is assumed to have been Sarah Peele's husband.
