Biography*: Inez ran away from home at age sixteen, with a circus that was passing through Alexander City. She worked her way into Vaudeville as a dancer. She did shows on the R.K.O. Circuit, which included Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Washington. She met Tom O'Brien along the way. He operated a saloon ("speakeasy") in Chicago, and managed to stay in business there during the Al Capone era, the 1920's.
